EIGER2 R Series

Description

DECTRIS EIGER2® R X-ray detectors for laboratory applications incorporate all the state-of-the art features of hybrid-pixel technology. The two energy-discriminating thresholds allow for extensive background suppression and improve the signal-to-noise ratio, in particular for weak signals and long exposure times. The detectors’ superior count-rate performance, high dynamic range, and simultaneous read/write with zero dead time enable accurate measurements of even the highest intensities.

Thanks to the detectors’ optional vacuum compatibility, absorption and scattering from air and windows can be minimized. 75-µm pixels, in combination with direct detection, achieve high spatial and angular resolution and give you the benefit of fine sampling with wide coverage of reciprocal space.

DECTRIS EIGER2® R’s many geometries and room-temperature operation, with dedicated support from us, make it an easy-to-integrate and easy-to-operate X-ray detector for any analytical instrument.

◆ Fast & precise: these detectors feature high frame and count rates, a high dynamic range, the best signal-to-noise ratio, and dead-time-free readouts.
◆ More & better data: our detectors offer the highest possible quantum efficiency for shorter measurement times and better data.
◆ Versatile: the detectors come in many sizes and geometries, with the room-temperature operation and optional vacuum compatibility.

→ EIGER2 R 4M
This is our flagship detector for X-ray diffraction and scattering in the home lab. It is particularly well-suited for macromolecular crystallography.
→ EIGER2 R 1M
This is a versatile, yet highly affordable detector for laboratory applications, such as chemical crystallography, macromolecular crystallography, and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS).
→ EIGER2 R 500K
This is a highly compact detector with a large active area, high resolution, and a high dynamic range.
→ EIGER2 R 250K
This detector is the ideal solution for all measurement setups with a limited field of view.
